How to be a confident person

Doing what you fear helps in building self confidence
There are plenty of tips on building self confidence in your everyday life.
Don't worry too much about the results of whatever it is that makes you nervous. A lot of the time, the repercussions of not doing something are worse than the repercussions of doing it.
For example, if you ask someone out on a date, the worse that can happen is that they will say no. If you don't ask anyone out ever, then you will spend a lot of time alone, and you will not cultivate any new relationships, which is a much worse thing to happen to a person.
My second tip to gain confidence is to force yourself to do things that you don't want to do. If you are uncomfortable in social settings
, or in any other circumstances, then the best way to change that is to force yourself to do it.
Even if you don't enjoy what you force yourself to do the first couple of times you do it, you will eventually get used to it, and come to enjoy the time you spend doing something you once hated, and become confident in those situations.
And the third of the self confidence tips - Get your friends to help. If you want to be more confident, it helps to have backup. Whenever you have friends nearby to support you, you will feel safer in a situation where you do not feel confident.
That safety lets you step outside your "safety zone" and do something new. As time goes on you may not need your friends to help you, and you may even make new ones.Browse Self Confidence Hypnosis AudiosReturn to Self Confidence Home
