Eton College is offering free self-study courses for British adolescents during the Covid-19 pandemic, it has been announced.

The private school said its principal, Simon Henderson, wrote to principals of public high schools offering access to its online learning platform, EtonX.

“EtonX’s self-study courses are specially designed to be delivered 100% online and include a full range of engaging learning materials, with a personal action plan and end-of-course assessment for each learner.

“The courses are made available free of charge to all public secondary schools in the UK, for use when individual schools feel that EtonX can complement the great work their staff are already doing, under difficult circumstances.”
