ISRO offers a free online course called Geoinformatics for Biodiversity Conservation Planning for students and professionals
ISRO is currently accepting applications for a free online course titled “Geoinformatics for Biodiversity Conservation Planning”, which can be completed in 12 days. The course will be delivered by the Indian Institute for Remote Sensing (IIRS), which is a center of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), which is a leading training and education institute established to train trained professionals in the field of remote sensing. , geoinformatics and GNSS technology for the management of natural resources, the environment and disasters.
The course is most beneficial for professionals from central government, state, private organizations, NGOs, students and researchers engaged in ecological studies. All course participants will receive an ISRO certificate to attend the course provided they have 70 percent attendance through the e-class portal.
