New Delhi:

Delhi Schools for Grades 10, 12 will now be conducted in offline mode only as per the instructions of the Delhi Government Directorate of Education. “Online course provision ends on the 10th and 12th. From now on, the course and exam will be conducted only in offline mode,” the circular reads.

Students attending classes do not need parental consent. “Schools may also deploy transportation facilities for the convenience of students and parents with appropriate Covid behavior as notified from time to time,” the circular said.

Meanwhile, classes 9 and 11 can continue in hybrid mode – both online and offline until March 31. Both of these classes will resume in offline mode from April 1 as per Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) guidelines which previously ordered that schools will resume in offline mode for all classes from kindergarten to April 12 from April, he said.

Although schools in the nation’s capital were reopened earlier for all grades, they were running in hybrid mode. Schools in the city were briefly reopened before being closed again on December 28 due to the third wave of coronavirus
